village hall week

Village Halls Week is a National celebration of village halls and community buildings by ACRE (Action with communities in Rural England). It started in 2018 and has continued to grow each year. The annual week in January changed to March in 2024 and is organised to thank the volunteers who are working at these halls which are the hubs at the heart of so many rural communities and promote their use.

 

The village Hall Series have supported ACRE since the first year of the national event with Geocaching challenges, Profile badges and Geocaching meetings held at village halls around the country and also with the production of Geocoins.
